What This Means
The TXCC FY 2026-2027 certification means that EncryptedTechnology's cybersecurity awareness training program has been reviewed and approved by the Texas Cyber Command — the state authority responsible for cybersecurity training standards under HB 150. Organizations that complete our training can fulfill their annual cybersecurity awareness training requirement under Texas law.
The certification covers all six required core modules of our training program, which address the mandatory topics specified in Texas Government Code § 2063.102 and § 2063.103.
Who Is Required to Complete Training
Under Texas Government Code § 2063.103, the following must annually complete a TXCC-certified cybersecurity awareness training program:
- All elected and appointed officials of state agencies and political subdivisions
- All employees with access to the entity's information resources
- Contractors with access to government computer systems or databases
This requirement applies to state agencies, cities, counties, ISDs, water districts, and all other political subdivisions of Texas. The annual completion deadline is August 31 of each fiscal year.
